From sweet sixteen to fabulous forty and even beyond, acne is a problem, which involves almost everybody at one or the other time in their lives. According to the National Institutes of Health, approximately 85% of adolescents and young adults in the age group of 12-24 develop this problem, and some people continue to suffer in their 40s and 50s. It is essential to note that acne has both; internal and external reasons. Nevertheless, there is a list of some basic forethought one can take to help preventing breakouts.

It is known fact that eating wrong foods is also one of the ways to encourage acne to exist permanently on the skin. In addition, it is now no more secret that a key to treat acne troubles is to adopt healthy lifestyle, but again, eating wrong foods can surely not what one calls healthy. Wearing too much makeup is also considered to be bad for the skin particularly if the skin tends to have habitué of pimple problems.

Overcoming acne or acne prevention finds many ways. Right from eating healthy foods to natural supplements such as Neem can be beneficial treating the condition. Dirt and pollution always has harmful effects on the skin and few of the leading causes of acne. However, one can wear St. Botanica Day and St. Botanica Night Cream in order to nourish the skin and to make it refresh.

Washing the face regularly by using an appropriate herbal facial wash to keep the skin totally protected against acne-causing microorganisms is advisable. Junk food, oily food, spicy food is also to be restricted or better to be given up. Many holistic healers suggest taking natural digestive toners such as Triphala that helps in digestion and keeps body away from constipation, one of the causes for acne.
