The banana plant is a big perennial herb having leaf sheaths that make a trunk-like pseudo stems. The plant has 8-12 leaves those can be up to 9 feet in length and 2 feet in width. Root development might be extensive in loose soil in some banana plants up to 30 feet laterally. Other plant descriptions differ as it depends upon the variety you are talking about.

Flower growth is started from the true stem that is underground (corm) 9-12 months after implanting the banana plant. The inflorescences (flower stalks) grow through the center of the pseudo stem and then flowers develop in clusters and coil around the main axis. It’s a diarrhea sufferer’s friend; a soothing substance, which might stop what the sufferer want, must to be stopped. This also helps replacing what is lost. It helps replacing electrolytes, the very tiny electrical elements required to power the body and maintain fluid volume.
