Britney’s mother turns against her manager

Lynne Spears, the mother of the popular pop star Britney Spears has instigated a real storm when she banged Britney’s former manager Sam Lutfi in her imminent book “Through The Storm - A Real Story of Fame and Family in a Tabloid World”. Lutfi is accused of taking advantage of the pop star by trying to cut her aloof from her immediate circle of kith and kin.
In the book, Lynne describes how the sad and emotionally struggling Britney Spears fell as an easy prey to the manager, whom she refers to as a “predator”. With in a month of appointment as manager, he gained complete control over Britney’s career and personal life. Lynne rebukes that he gave for himself the role of Britney’s gate-keeper. Lynne says that Lutfi kept Britney’s family away from her and constantly threatened that Britney would commit suicide if they got rid of him by any means.
Lutfi, who was with Britney through out the period of her emotional turmoil as she broke up with her ex-husband, was later asked by the court to stay away from her. However, possibly due to these personal strains, Spears has lately stumbled in her career comeback. Even her truest fans would agree that her performance at the opening function of the MTV Video Music Awards was not up to the mark. Her newly released single “Gimme More” was strongly reviewed. Many people of talent who stood by her during her hard times have been leaving Spears’ camp for the past few months. The last in this, now rather long list, is her attorney Laura Wasser. Wasser has been serving as her lawyer in the legal battle with her ex-husband Kevin Federline for the custody of two sons. Wasser, however, expressed hope that Britney Spear will be in “excellent hands” with her substitution.
