From what I can gather, not all agave "nectar"is the same, and the processing, can make it not only NOT raw, but actually quite refined and concentrated as a fractionated product, which in spite of an apparent low G.I. is actually not so great for the metabolism as the high fructose level requires metabolism in the liver rather than the digestive track. Lots of controversy and questions, but I'll start with this one. Thanks, and it would be nice if it turns out that all the negative press was wrong. Please be scientific and honest. in your response. I have the health of children in my care an mind.
