How to tackle Prostrate Disorders

Prostate irregularities are extremely common among men who are above fifty years of age. The prostrate gland is a male gland that is similar to chest nut in appearance. It is located at the base of the urinary bladder near the beginning of the urethra. Different kinds of prostrate disorders include the enlargement of the prostrate gland known as hypertrophy and inflammation in the prostate gland called prostatitis.

Any irregularity that has occurred in the normal functioning of the prostrate gland will affect the passage of urine adversely. Some people find it difficult to pass urine and some others feel like to pass urine frequently even during the night. Other symptoms of prostrate disorder include a dull aching pain in the lower back region and pain in the hips, legs and feet.

It is the peculiar location of the gland that makes it vulnerable to congestion and resultant disorders. In an erect position, the pressure often falls on the pelvic region precisely where the prostate gland is located. As a man ages, he loses his flexibility and as a result the exerted pressure increases which makes the gland more vulnerable.

Prolonged sitting in a particular position, especially at office, also results in exerting increased pressure in this area.  Severe prostatitis is also found to occur as an after effect of exposure to cold and chill. Constipation also leads to prostate disorders.

Dietary changes are found to be beneficial in bringing prostrate irregularities under control. Such positive changes along with precise medication are sure to work wonders. It is advisable to drink lots of water. The daily intake of fresh juicy fruits should be increased considerably.

It is also advisable to avoid irregular eating and drinking habits. Never allow pressure e to be exerted in the abdominal region by sitting for a continuously longer period. All efforts should be made in order to tone up the general health condition of the body.
