Kick off tips for post divorce flirting

Middle-age is often referred to as ‘dark period’ in one’s life. This is especially true if you happen to be a divorcee or a widow. But in today’s world the middle ages of a single woman need not be such a big drag. In fact, they can be made the most enjoyable period of her life. Solitude exerts its overwhelming pressure upon them, but they are reluctant to break the shell and come out. Though many of these women are economically independent and enjoy other privileges that their successful careers provide, they feel that their flirting reflex has been irreversibly rusted and solidified. Breaking the shell does not necessarily mean romance and dating. It simply means saying ‘YES’ boldly to the vibrant colours of life. It also means saying “YES” when they really feel so, instead of that blunt “NO”, to which they are used to.

The most important thing is to relax. Try not to get over excited at the slightest flicker of interest that you feel for a new person. At the mere sight of the man of your interests, you do not have to think if your kids are going to accept him. The first thing to do is to develop a good
repertoire with him so that you will be considered at least as an acquaintance by him. Later, you can talk about more personal details such as your jobs, family, hobbies, interests, food you like to eat, favourite travel spots etc. The old theory of “Keep It Simple, Stupid” is the most effective one in this regard.

With smart and witty statements you can easily grab his attention. Of course, each person will have their own ways of demanding attraction. At the same time you should make good judgments based on his body language. Like, if he completely lean towards your direction as he talks, it is surely a positive sign of interest. If he tries to neglect your eyes, there is not much scope for hope. So, ladies, go ahead and live your life to the fullest.
