Natural herbs used for weight loss no. 1 – Bitter Orange – The name “bitter orange” refers to a citrus tree (Citrus aurantium) and its fruit. Many varieties of bitter oranges are used for their essential oil, which is used in perfume and as a flavoring.

They are also used in herbal medicine. Other names include sour orange, bigarade orange and Seville orange.

The unique shape of gymnemic acid molecules are similar to that of glucose, allowing it to fill cell receptors in the lining the intestines, thereby preventing uptake of sugar molecules.

Natural herbs used for weight loss no. 5 – Guggul - Guggul are a resin, which is produced by the stem of the commiphora mukul tree, a relatively small, thorny plant native to India. Historically Guggul has been used in connection with a wide variety of conditions, including rheumatism and obesity.

Natural herbs used for weight loss no. 6 – Spirulina (Blue-Green Algae) - pirulina contain unusually high amounts of protein, between 55 and 77% by dry weight, depending upon the source. It is a complete protein, containing all essential amino acids, though with reduced amounts of methionine, cysteine, and lysine, as compared to standard proteins such as that from meat, eggs, or milk. It is, however, superior to all standard plant protein, such as that from legumes.
