Tips to Take Care of Your Skin

March 5, 2009

Skin care is indeed essential in our world of atmospheric pollutants.  Sunscreen serves as the real fountain of youth. It is extremely important that you get used to the habit of applying sunscreen lotions with minimum SPF of fifteen to thirty protections.

Despite of the climatic changes, proper sun protection should be ensured. Even winter sun can be harmful to the skin. Moisturizers enriched with sunscreen quality will make the work easier for you.

Homemade masks are found to be more beneficial to the skin. They are less expensive and easy to be prepared as well. If you have oily skin with pimples, a mixture of grapes, lemon and egg white will do wonders on your skin. Honey is found to heal ulcers and burns effectively.

It is advisable to wash your face with plain refrigerated yogurt every night before going to bed. This will help in eradicating every single acne from your face, that too with in a couple of weeks.

The facial scrub that you use should be in match with your pore size.It has been found that the size of grains on the face scrub will make a drastic effect on your skin. If not of the correct size, skin irritation is likely.
Extreme care should be taken while applying facial cream around your eyes.

The delicate skin beneath the eyes should not be pulled out. Rough handling of this fragile skin layer will lead to the formation of wrinkles much before you actually age. It is not advisable to apply foundation cream all over the face. You need to apply them only in those areas about which you are less confident.

Dietary changes are also essential for letting your skin glow. Ensure that the diet you take in is rich in essential vitamins such as A, B, and C. While these vitamins ensure internal health of the skin layers, Vitamin E improves the skin complexion externally.
